Matthew Pan, PhD, PEng<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Matthew Pan is an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Queen\u2019s University and a core member of the Ingenuity Labs Research Institute. He leads the Machine Intelligence and Human-Robot Interaction Laboratory (MItHRIL), where his research explores robotics, haptics, virtual\/augmented reality, and human-robot interaction. His work spans robotic grasping, embodied interaction, and VR\/AR systems, with applications in engineering, health, and the arts. Dr. Pan\u2019s research has been published in leading venues such as IEEE VR and IEEE TVCG, and he holds multiple patents on physical interactions in VR. He is passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration and experiential education.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
